I guess I had missed this the first time around so now I see this story after I started the other one, and now I know what happened.  Too bad that had to happen to your friend, but maybe it saved you from something worse who knows

It is crazy how things change in a hurry! My nephew just got out of his cast from a foot he broke in three places, on, no less, our birthday! lol sam

Wow, Vogue-  Sounds like you saw a lot more of the Turkish countryside and culture than you bargained for.  But if anyone can turn a trip to the hospital into an adventure, it's you!!!!  I've been taking a hiatus from Blogit lately due to my own travels and writing, but I'll be back in a few weeks reading and writing thoroughly.  Mal

Terribly sorry to hear about your friend... What an adventure... I hope he heals quickly and painlessly...poor guy.  Meanwhile you must be excited about your trip to Northern Spain... Its so beautiful there!  and you are due for some worry-free travel  :-) xoxo
