I always google the places that you go and look at maps and such.  I found this on wikipedia and thought it was very interesting: 

Aristarchus (Greek: Ἀρίσταρχος; 310 BC – ca. 230 BC) was a Greek astronomer and mathematician, born on the island of Samos, in Greece. He was the first person to present an explicit argument for a heliocentric model of the solar system, placing the Sun, not the Earth, at the center of the known universe.

Interesting to read the background Vogue

I haven't been to Samos for so many years and unfortunately the history is somewhat faded now!  Many thanks and blessings my friend - I do hope you enjoy your trip and look forward to some of your amazing pics!
