Re: Re: Re: ciel,
One has to be careful when in the presence of sheep.
They have a reputation that I won't go into discussing here.
I have met many a farm or ranch boy who discussed such things as if
they were exciting, natural, and perfectly normal.
Fortunately, I wasn't around that sort very often. My stomach is sensitive.

Re: Re: ciel,
At least the sheep weren't involved. They just lived next door. But they were out.

Re: ciel,
I don't recall that we had mice in our barn, but surely there must have been some.
My most memorable experience in the barn is when I was helping to load hay in from the hay trailer.
I was halfway up the stack when someone let a bale loose from the loading claw.
I got knocked to the bottom of the stack and run over by a hay bale.
Everyone who saw it thought it was really funny.
Haybarn by a sheepshed? I won't ask for any more details.

I had a great time in a hayloft once...
we were flying from the loft down to the soft hay below, and chasing the mice that were flying from us... I ended up accidentally catching one in my little cowboy boot, but when we took the boot off because there was a lump in it, the mouse ran out and got away, and I was so disappointed, because I'd caught it finally, after all, and then didn't have it after all. I was 4 or 5.
There was another incident in the haybarn by a sheepshed some years later, but we don't need to get into that. It had nothing to do with mice or boots, though.

Re: northsage,
That is generally true, but when you get kids out where there is no adult supervision a lot of things can happen.
As far as stray straws being a problem, a problem is in the eye of the beholder.
Things that one considers a problem can be very arousing to another.
One man's meat can be another's poison.

Re: LOL
Thanks for the visit, Ari. I need to get by and see some of your new bloogs.
(I misspelled blogs, but I found it so nice that I left it that way.)
It is kind of nice getting back here. Maybe I'll make the
Big Bucks this time around. Ya think?

Re: So you are hitting the hay?
Yes, Azur. I am just about to go up the ladder into the hayloft. If you could climb up just ahead of me I could show you how much fun a climb up a ladder can be.

Out behind the barn.
Flasher,
I thought that "out behind the barn" is where farm kids went to smoke, or get spankings! You are right about hay lofts, inspiring fantasies, though. I suspect that stray straws can become a problem for amorous couples, like sand on a beach! Ouch!

I think I should go to bed and re-evaluate the matter in the morning. My computer is beginning to irritate me.

I am not sure what you should do about the barn maybe
take yourself out behind the barn and fight it out.

Re: Azur
Maybe it's just because it is Friday night. I started off thinking about the barn,
and before I knew it everything that came to mind conjured up a few thoughts.
Have you ever been in a nice, thick grove of Junipers? It is quite an interesting place.
