Krisles. ., Washington DC is an amazing place to visit.
I actually get to go there in about a week, and I'm looking forward to it once again.  Since I'm a bit younger than you, the Vietnam War Memorial doesn't have the effect on me that it does to you.  BUT, Arlington ABSOLUTELY DOES.  The changing of the guard is an astounding site to see.

I remember my first trip to the wall! It was difficult to see my friend's name on there too! The one's who died as a result of agent orange need to be on the wall with the fallen as well! I have a brother-in-law in that category! War is absolute hell for everyone! Poignant post! sam
