Hi Spitfire. You are probably right. Something needs to be done to protect working people. We need the bail out, not rich greedy a-holes.

I think it's also a way to
try and get people to quit so they can't collect unemployment benefits. Sneaky, mean, sad and wrong.

Re: muley
Hi Timmytales. It is that way everywhere, but why? Management is vain, greedy and superficial, with no substance or caring for their employees, or their customers for that matter.

Re: Although you have written this post in a light vein my friend.......
Hi Maria! We do need a respite from all the negativity the media feeds us.

Re: Soul Builder 101
Management does seem to have lost it's creativity. Now a days they just preen and try to look the part, rather than be leaders.

Hi sam wish I was retired too. Oh well, I hate to be too negative, things could always be worse.

Although you have written this post in a light vein my friend.......
the underlying frustration is quite clear; 'the way things are at the moment' a great cover all phrase isn't it? Of course the media causing mass hysteria has a lot to answer for (almost worked here too) with everyone's focus on doom and gloom it is thriving; we need something good to give our attention to - anything...... oh dear I'm rambling  Many blessings and thanks for a very interesting post

Corporations are now bankrupt of ideas. The bankers stole the show. All they can do now is cut staff while enslaving the rest!

Re Sinome:
Hi! What  can I say, things suck all over. Everything goes in cycles. Sooner or later things will brighten for everyone.

I am sorry you are having so much stress at work... its unfortunate because one spends so much time there... I am my own boss in a way but since I deal with clients they can be pretty taxing at times... and if not them their relatives...  but in general I can not complain for I am doing what I love to do.  I think you have a pretty good grasp into what is truly going on in big companies now a days... and the frustrating thing is that there is not much an individual can do to change things... Take care of you and I hope things get better and less stressful ...
