I will probably have dementia of the Altzheimer's type as well if I am unfortunate enough to have not died of a heart attack first. Paternal side has less than perfect hearts (I had a heart attack when I was 25) and the maternal side is ridden with brain issues (my great-grandmother was supposed to have a frontal lobotomy). I like this question - it's interesting to ponder. Makes you ponder all the nature/nurture things you have going on. Thanks!

Me too Sam! That's what makes it so hard - being the great protector here. I want lights and squeaky doors galore! What if she begins to wander, as some of them do, and I don't hear her AND I can't see her? Well, the next night the lights were back on and she didn't notice. Gotta go day by day, I guess. :D
