She was surely proud of you in life, and most certainly proud of you still, dear Rasse.  My deepest condolences for your loss.

What a very difficult yet utterly moving time for you. I wish you strength for the eulogy and an uplifting and memorable service. Your grandma sounds just lovely.

Please accept my condolences! It was wonderful that you could say goodbye to each other and your presence must have been a great comfort. Sincere best wishes to you and your family at this difficult time.

You can be sure she will be proud of you---even now, she's looking down and blessing you. Remember, you made the end happy for her, and now you have a powerful advocate in Heaven. This piece was sent by a friend when my dad passed away---I hope it helps.

"Death is nothing at all. I have only slipped away into the next room. I am I, and you are you. Whatever we were to each other, that we still are. Call me by my old familiar name, speak to me in the easy way which you always used. Put no difference in your tone, wear no forced air of solemnity or sorrow. Laugh as we always laughed at the little jokes we enjoyed together. Play, smile, think of me, pray for me. Let my name be ever the household word that it always was, let it be spoken without effort, without the trace of a shadow on it. Life means all that it ever meant. It is the same as it ever was; there is unbroken continuity. Why should I be out of mind because I am out of sight? I am waiting for you for an interval, somewhere very near, just round the corner. All is well".

God bless and give you strength. Nita.
