What a beautiful post Sinome. It's true, we can only regret it when we miss opportunities. But, we can learn to watch for new ones.

Your blog on lost opportunities to connect with someone.
Sinome,
This was a heart touching retrospective, and I am glad to have read it. If you think about it, the experiences of one long life can encompass every change from horse and buggy, to space exploration. It did for my great grandmother.
Along the lines of your lesson, but with a twist, is one of my favorite sayings. "Always yield to temptation! It may never come your way again!" Not always the best advice, but funny. We all have things that we keep going back to in our minds, turning them over and over again, often with regret.

This is a really touching story and you told it brilliantly. You are so right about not missing opportunities; though often it's easier said than done. So it's an advantage to read a story like this one, that reminds us not to make that mistake. Thanks for visiting me today.
