What a wonderful reunion! I don't think any of us thought we would get that old, lol! It was for the other generations! I have let people fade away as well! Some I would liked to have stayed connected to but like you say, time does get away from us! Great post, but I have come to expect that from you though! I could see you visiting the shops and talking and enjoying each other's company! sam

I did enjoy reading this post! Glad to know you had such a pleasant reunion with your old friend and hope you can stay in touch with each other.

It is fun to catch up with old friends but I
have found that we each get caught up in our lives and don't keep in touch as we said we would even those who live close by.  One of my best friends that lives a hundred miles away and I keep in touch via email and she comes back here to visit time to time.  We met when I helped deliver her first child and we have been close ever since and now she has grandchildren.  In fact all my old friends have grand children but me.  It sounds like you have had a really nice visit and lots of good memories.  May many blessings continue.

A very interesting post, Greenfields.  Even though I am "only" 71, many of my old friends of my age have already passed on from one thing or another.  It is very disconcerting to be the older generation of a family--the matriarch.  I always thought of myself as young.  The mirror and my lessening energies belie that now.
