I think we must let go to experience true freedom as well! The ego seems to get in the way frequently! sammie

"just being, accepting..." I suppose that also means letting go. Nicely written :)

Sinome
"Never wake a slave for he may be dreaming of freedom" Khalil Gibran said something like that and your post made me think of it, you are a wonderful writer...............................

Very thought provoking.....
This reminds me of Wordsworth’s Ode on Immortality, where the child comes “trailing clouds of glory” and loses it when “shades of the prison house begin to close upon the growing boy.” Thanks for the very kind and warm comment on my post. I’m so glad you like India and feel close to us; I do hope some day you will visit, and see it all for yourself. Yes, there is a lot of vibrancy and gaiety and beauty in India, but unfortunately, there is a also a lot of illiteracy, poverty and other problems, due to a host of reasons……. the amazing thing is that people are very resilient and full of life [even the poor] and despite everything, look for any excuse to celebrate! How else would you explain firecrackers when India wins a cricket match, even if its past midnight ! [and no one minds being woken up!!] Have a great day! God bless. Nita.
