It has nothing to do with party and everything to do with principles......Taxes???? It's nice to apparently be one of those who don't.....expecting to bleed those that do. This is the most bloated useless piece of garbage ever forced upon the American nation.......
And we have an apparently unstable person at the helm, to "steer" us through? Instead of inspiring "hope" in the American dream, all he seems to be able to do now is....scare the piss out of everyone....now that's real leadership......
There has never been an instance of a government being able to spend it's way out of an economic downturn.......
And we still have a budget coming??? What's it going to be next 2 Trillion?

My views on the stimulus package are evolving, but not in any coherent direction, but I worry over using mainly tax cuts in this stimulus, because one-time spending programs are common, but tax cuts feel more long-term, and are harder to curtail later. As we have seen with the 8-year battle over Bush's tax cut plan. (Which is still in the phasing-in period, so maybe we don't need any more tax cuts, right?)

America as a unit should be insisting upon paying higher taxes right now.
How we expect to fix anything with crazy and untrammelled spending, I'll never understand. I want all the higher ups replaced and put in prison, now. I want new regulations last week and I want accountability forever and ever amen.
People who follow party lines right now, any party lines are unAmerican in my view. Obama was handed a box of dog poop and it's on fire and people are all discussing what should be done with it as he stands there holding it.
We should all step up and use our brains to do what must be done to stop this mess now and to make it impossible to have happen again. Capitalists are scary, nation toppling terrorists right now and are being handed money as we used to hand money over to Saddam, begging him to behave and use it wisely.
I want Obama to teach history as he speaks to the nation. I want him to teach economics to the dumbed down American people. I want him to stop listening to the Saddams and to begin to listen to silly people, like John Stewart and Colbert and other disinterested parties....heh. Had to chill at the end there or I couldn't finish my breakfast.
