Very powerful. It is indeed very easy to help those when we know them or are getting something out of it.

I love your introduction: so simple, yet powerful. If we could all remember and act upon the words of the Lord, what a different world it would be! Many thanks and blessings. Have a good day! Nita.

I loved this sincere post. I am convinced that all must act like the 'extended Hand'. This is a wonderful and truly inspiring phrase. God bless.

Texas,it's a great time of year to look for the homeless and offer food and
blankets, at the very least...or drive them to a shelter thats been set up...or both....reminds me to check my own closet and pull out the shirts and maybe even a coat that I never wear anymore...

Hmm, that passage also sends a chill down my spine. Reminds me of all I don't do.... It seems from the passage that we aren't condemned for anything we do, only for what we fail to do. Ug!!

Yes, Matthew's Gospel offers great insights to the life and times of Jesus.  If I can just be more like Him, I will walk on the same path of kindness.  Thanks for reading & commenting!

Blessings to you TexasGem! I make it a point to help those in need but I keep it quiet! I also have a bicycle ministry and I give bikes to underprivileged kids! Great post, I am a firm believer in paying it forward! sam
