Sinome, how interesting you chose to call this "Elizabeth"...:)
My wife's name, and thankfully she didn't get away (celecbrated 40 yrs of marriage as of this date.:) Thank you for reminding me of how lucky and blessed I am....

I see neither a fool nor a queen in this poem...
...just a man missing the woman he loves. Your usual excellence.

Well if that isn't a poignant ending to a movie! I adore it to no end! Exquisite imagery! Incredulous setting and congruity of the imagery too! love you! sammy

Sinome
What a poem of an unfulfilled and yet fulfilling love...you have once more shown possibilities, beautifully...

Is wonderful how you give meaning to single words and better yet how you choose to connect them...a master piece

I liked the analogy employed to describe the pain of separation. Extraordinary poem.

Re: Wow!

I am just having trouble keeping my voice. My divorce is still pending. I have fallen in love and had my heart broken. Friendships have been redefined... and well some have died. Inspiration is just hard to come by. Thanks for missing me.

As always, I love your work.
