Thank you Wiley! And it would have had to be steel, cause he can chew through anything else!

This is quite the story luv and you're a great story teller. I couldn't help asking myself the same question I had in my head the past few days about all the people getting killed in avalanche's. Why do they do it, take all that risk? Well I feel that I have to ask you that question because if it was me you can be sure that PB would have been in solitary confinement with a wee sliding steel door I could shove his food through from day 1.LOL

Re: I don't know what to think except you need 9mm on your hip. I'm hooked.
Aww, Muley. although I am pretty good with a gun in target practice, I could never shoot an animal...I'd feel guilty for the rest of my life. Would love to be able to do the Spock thingie (from Startreck)!

LOL Sam444
It was quite the situation...I'm sure that young vet is still laughing about my reaction! I'm probably his favorite locker-room story. Thanks!

Re: Wow
Thank you Norwood. I also read your comment on the previous chapter. Thanks so much for reading, and as you can see, the problem here was mostly my fault, not the dog.

Re: This is the most wonderful story !!!
Thank you Hazel. If you were in tears, that is the best compliment! It means you could feel what I was trying to convey. And what about the Freebie and the bottle of Tequila if I publish? Have you changed your mind? LOL!

And, I swear, that damned dog would turn and grin at me before walking away! O, I so believe you on this one! I am sorry but I had to chuckle too! I thought it would only be a matter of time before he would go after you! I so admire your courage and affection for these dogs! I don't think I could do it! sam

A great read. I love dogs and that Bud definitely needs a lot of attention and discipline.
