This is a pleasure to read!
And thanks, for stopping by and commenting about my river photos. That is the Potomac River that runs down out of the Appalachians, descends from the foothills in the waterfalls in those pictures, and then runs on through Washington, DC. I have often seen kayackers shooting the rapids there!
I'm looking forward to reading more of your writing. (The larger print you chose for this is much easier on the eyes than your first post.)
