benzinha, it is a great phrase
I would interpret it as kindness that person is not expecting and is overwhelmed by it. It's just a phrase! At least in my book!

TAPS. You are too sweet. But, beliebe me, I am as human as
the next person and can be pretty unkind sometimes. Its' a constant struggle, believe me.

OTA. you have a point
some people kill with kindness. But, I am speaking of something different. Kindness in thought is more essential for me. The idea to have a dialgue with oneslef about how and hat you are feeling about a person or situation.

I love the phrase, "You are too kind." How can that be?

Greenfields, I am having trouble thinking of you as anything but the epitome of kindness. But, it is good to think on these things and be reminded.

Kindness to everyone is good. When under attack, the mode has to change as enemies identify themselves! Sanity is lost when nonsense is ongoing and untreated! My view!

I try to be kind all the time! I do have my shortcomings though! When I am riled, I am not kind at all! It takes a lot to get me to that point, but I am not that kind when I have been wronged beyond what I can handle! I got two cool bookends, with my gift certificates for Christmas, that are chess pieces, a knight and a bishop! They were made in India and of brass! I love them! I have a little of India with me now! Happy New Year! sam

Greenfields. The picture you post from your retreat is charming. It looks so green there. I like the little windows to either side of the door. Are they indeed windows? Maybe I am just imagining them. In any case they delight me.
As to kindness. Such a relative thing. When I think I am being kind sometimes I discover I have not been so in someone elses eyes so it is a constant struggle for me. It can absolutely freeze me if I allow. So I just try again each time. ~peace

I enjoy reading your blog, though this is the first time I'm leaving a comment. Have a lovely New year, and enjoy the mountains....the hills [in Uttaranchal] are my favorite destination too! Nita.
