Actually....
...the wood stove, lighting and warming the house, with sandwiches to snack on sounds rather cozy. I hope Charlie's not delayed for too much longer.

Just catching up here! Too bad about the flight delays - but I guess we have to expect that at this time of year, and especially with that weather! I love your little fish bowls. For a while I used to have an aquarium as a kid, but I never had the patience to look after them properly, and in the end my Mom put a stop to it...

Thanks, TAPS, every bit helps!
Stay cozy and keep off the treadmill!

Re: We were out of power today for about a half an hour
Is your niece on a well?  When we lose power, the well pump quits, so no water, so frozen pipes.  Good luck with keeping your power--I hope you have plenty of candles just in case--a table full of candles can also put out surprising amounts of warmth.

I pray he gets there safely and that you have no trouble driving to pick him up at the airport.  I'm so glad I told Florida son I would not fly down for Christmas.   I'd love to see them but, this "ain't" the week for flying--not for me.
