Awesome..I have two of my own...Max and Jake are older now though they still manage to follow us through the ranch chores...I have heard of a bloodline of B.C. called McNab which are taller with less coat...He sounds like he might be from that line...They have up-standing ears while the two I have are not McNab and have floppy ears...They do make great dogs though...I will have to check out those puppy pictures!

TAPS, I can't remember having snow like this more than
three times in the over-30 years we have lived here. And we are expecting more over the weekend.
I hope your ice doesn't discommode you much--it certainly makes the worst driving conditions! Be careful!

Wigopa and metalrat, he is indeed border collie--
mostly. His father is a working border collie, and his mother is also 'mostly' border collie. We have come to suspect a bit of shepherd in the mix, with his size and his occasionally up-standing ears. (Usually just one is up, the other bent. Unless you have his interest aroused.)
If you look back a few pages, you will see some of his puppy pictures from last spring and summer. He is now coming up on 9 months.
sizewise, he is bigger than a border collie, and less shaggy, but his smarts and energy are very much bc!

It's hard to believe you got all that snow. I think you got more than we did. We are supposed to be getting ice on top of it now but I don't think it has started yet. At least I don't hear any hitting the windows.

Davy's a cool lookin' dog....
....hard to tell what mix of breeds he is, if he's mixed, because his size can't be discerned from the pics. Do you know what breed(s) he is?
