Re: Re:

why, naut! thankyou for that. i cannot stop laughing - that was really sweet of you .

something really funny happened in the same vein sometime ago at the Levi's outlet here. your clarification in response to ex's fabulous compliment, brought the memories of that shopping experience hurtling back. it was hilarious then, still is. ROFL

trust your weekend has been great. enjoy the week.

Hi by...

I always thought it was easy to find this stuff, but I guess it ain't, so I have given you all the links below. You've got Part I, so here's the rest.

This series is not as neat and orderly as it should be, more in the nature of a prolonged chat about stuff. It wasn't overly popular, as you will see, but you might find at least some of it interesting...

And I don't know why you didn't get the . All did was tell you that the Latin root for 'vidi' is 'videre' = to see...

Re: bytws

pl note- the correction has been made  - thankyou very much for pointing it out. i feel silly now, because i have always said 'vidi' when we sang it as a rhyme, and yet when i wrote it, i put it down wrong  but hey, i still don't have your mail and so still don't know 'why' it should be vidi. do try again.

your time series(? ) i found, yes, and i am pretty sure i left my thoughts on it. lemme check. going there now

Very informative, I had no idea the formulation of the calender was that complex!

I just told you that 'vedi' should be 'vidi' and why, and also gave you the link to my time series, which you have found by now, though only Part I, the beginning. I would really like to hear what you think of it...

Re: Re:
This is what I should say---you're too modest! Thanks for stopping by, and your very encouraging comment on my post. Welcome to India; hope you're enjoying it! Yes, spices are very common here---almost all recipes include turmeric, as it not only adds flavor, but has medicinal properties. I must write about it sometime! Loved your post, and look forward to more! All the best. Nita.

So the calendar hasn't changed that much since 45BC. WOW. Organizing time on this planet of ours has been quite the task through the ages. Very enlightening..this "date with time".
