This is great both for the images and the emotions it stirs up.

You  have the ability to stop the moment and honor it for the beauty it holds.. just there in that time..it doesnt get much better than that~Peace, OTA

Sinome, this so reminds me of my mother singing us lullabys when I was a child.  I so loved that that it brings tears to my eyes.

I guess we are caught up in stereotypical love, not the spontaneously occurring kind!

A whimsy of blessing in watching a sleeping love! Tender and heart warming.

Perhaps you're not looking deeply enough?

Sometimes we overlook the littlest things and don't realize how big they really are.
Watching someone sleep, and smiling...it would seem to me that the power of love is present.

Sinome
Another beautiful masterpiece! It's the sort of poem that invites quiet contemplation...

Again your words pull at the strings of my heart
how many nights I do just as you have written, knowing the shortness of time each night brings that we will be together to watch each other sleep.

Sinome, just when I think you have reached the pinnacle of imagery, you astound me with another incredulous poem. I can't find the words to express my emotions. Suffice it to say I was touched deeply and all my senses were engaged. {I just saw your comment, it cracked me up. Can you imagine at my age carrying a little prince. I would have a heart attack. I don't know where these come from at times, but I love to mess around} Love you!!! Sammy
