Too funny…. I’ve been on the receiving end of “well it’s just to complicated to explain” when, in fact, I knew exactly what he was talking about. Yup – sometimes they assume we’re idiots.

Well, ladies...
I happen to know what a hose clamp is. And I did this little test. I asked my LSW if she knew what a hose clamp is. "No." "Well, it's this thing that tightens... etc. etc." "Oh! That's called a hose clamp?" "Yep..."

Right about then, Bel, I'd have been suggesting alternative uses
for the hose clamp. They do tighten up, if memory serves.
