Still on 9/11. . .

I was viewing on the tv  screen the last of the two planes crushing on the world trade center building when it actually happened. I failed to catch the first plane that struck. Many days passed my brain spinning for answers and going through the analysis of our socio-cultural, religious and political scientists in the world making learned and educated observations why this had to happen. I think Dave, you have speculated on some correct  answers.

What struck me, however, was the depths of faith of those we call "terrorists" in the "rewards" of their god for their "heroism". I venture to say, if Christians only have half of the faith those "terrorists" displayed, what a beautiful world this is - even if Osama would still continue to spread what we perceived as his "evil." If we can forgive by our Christian God all the evils that Osama would do rather than keep on running after him in the mountains of Afghanistan, turn to prayers for OSAMA'S FORGIVENESS and believing that our Christian God is the true God, what can Osama do against Christians? Didnt our God say: "If you are with me, who can be against me"? - Rotsen

Re: Sam444
The whole city was terrified. I got high every night so I just couldn't think. But, the dark side people were pressing and I stood up and fought back. The muslims did not have them as their support. It had to be another grouping. The real terrorists will pay for my people who threw themselves down to escape....and died with a thump!

Re: lustorlove
I guess I was very scared. By Christmas I was in a shelter on 28th street. Times were that bad. I credit God for his guidance and mercy. Not much has changed but I still feel his guiding hand!

Re: BC-A
When I consider the Lavon Affair and the attack on the USS Liberty, I wonder about the US-Israel friendship! Thanks.

Re: The events of that day still affect me to this very moment
Thanks Mysteria! The attitude I adopted is that....God will make them pay! I still feel it but fighting back is the only thing that keeps me sane.

It is about speculation like the article infers. Now doubt it was evil! I was amazed to learn you were so close. I cannot imagine what yo went through. It had to be terrifying. sam

Your posts provide interesting and simulating blogging* However I find that Israel and the United States are mutually involved in the Middle East in a way that rules out an Israeli conspiracy theory in terms of 9/11 but blog on *

101  you are so right... it was pure evil what happened that day, whether the instruments evil used were the stupid followers of Ben Ladin or whomever, there is no question it was evil.  As always interesting post

I guess for me it was a loss of innocence on that day. A feeling that
the world was going to be a more difficult challenge. I went outside and planted some uncompromisingly cheerful flowers just to show I can't be beat.

The events of that day still affect me to this very moment
Something inside of me died, but I can't quite put my finger on just what that something is.  I was on the edge of sanity and that day I went over...It was the end of the world for me and now I live in a shell shocked state..
