Re: FYS. Many have gone mad, many focus on fueling their bigoted campaigns
Azur, thanks for the boost!  When people post You Tube videos as evidence for their stance, I can't help but wonder how much (or little) they even know about the issues.

Re:
....I know you were kidding, thanks for the comment.  But yes, the media is not reporting news or information.  They report sensation, gossip and opinion, and report no real information.  How can anyone be confident that they've made an informed decision when they really don't know what either candidate stands for?

Re:

Isn't that just lovely.  And these people are actually voting.  God above, help us all.

(I bet the next sentence said that the not-very-attractive disabled man was John McCain.)

Re: sorry

But in wasting time with these things you are making yourself into a fool who is contributing to the same sort of villification of John McCain.

Neither of these guys is the spawn of satan (though in my opinion neither are qualified for the job), so quit worrying about what fools believe.  Stick to the issues.  And if you're confused about what is an issue and what is not:

Taxation:  ISSUE.

Palin's wardrobe:  NON ISSUE.

Foreign Policy:  ISSUE.

McCain's age or facial expressions:  NON ISSUE.

Social Security:  ISSUE.

Obama's co-chair ten years ago:  NON ISSUE.

The Economy:  ISSUE

Joe Biden's hometown:  NON ISSUE.

Get It?

Madness
I admit, I am mad.  I have medical records to prove it.  And I'm voting for a Democrat because I think he will be more fiscally responsible than his Republican opponent.  So either I'm losing my grip on reality or the world has gone crazy, because try as I might, I can't see fiscal responsibility in the policies of the last 8 years, or the proposals of John McCain.

FYS. Many have gone mad, many focus on fueling their bigoted campaigns
Which is all the more reason to keep saying what you say.

There are people who are thinking, and reading before they speak. One never knows who one helps - ie the noisy ones are not the only ones out there.

sorry
you are correct

we shouldn't be going around and around about things that have nothing todo with running the country.

but some are making Obama look evil.  that incenses me  -- what has been talked about --

i only talk about the same thing to show that they are foolish.

FYS, this is what I read today,

"Obama had cocaine-fueled gay sex in the back of a limousine with a not-very-attractive disabled man with a criminal background."

i was just kidding fineyoungsinger - but you must admit that the media has deluged us with all of this crap - and it has become so tiresome that people are talking about how much someone spends on clothes to some mentally ill woman who wants to be on the news - yes - the country is MAD
