I caught the tail end of hurrican Ivan which devasted the Caymans and that was enough storm for a lifetime. I love the fact that you are a good sailor and don't get seasick. So am I. The more the boat moves the merrier for me. Nevertheless, keep safe and warm.

Love your style.....I could almost hear and feel the wind! Best to enjoy it while safe and cosy at home!

Boy the wind can make you feel unsettled. It feels better when it quits.

We get windstorms here in the Pacific NW
that can also pack 100mph winds. In our house surrounded by tall trees, it can make us a bit anxious...

So nice to meet you uistlady!!
Your journal and life in Scotland sound fascinating!!! I can imagine the storm. My husband and I spent 9 months in Scotland last year...from Feb to Nov and they said it was the coldest summer recorded since they started recording weather! I love Scotland though...my father's family hailed from Perth. Thanks for your comments on my blog and I look forward to reading yours!!
