JanesO, I have seen some of it already, but I choose to not dwell there too longish. Too creepy!

Have a great day

Huh. Politics at its best, errrr I mean worst.

I googled things like "Karl Rove, John McCain, campaign lies" and came up with a bazillion results, including the below.  But before you read that, let me remind you that both campaigns have been accused of lies and smear tactics.  I believe even Rove said both campaigns were issuing some low blows.  Not that these means are justified . . . .

  1. Karl Rove smeared John McCain in South Carolina in 2000. Rove had Republican operatives circulate lies via push polling, “Would you be more or less likely to vote for John McCain…if you knew he had fathered an illegitimate black child?”
  2. At the same time, Rove also circulated rumors that McCain consorted with prostitutes, was homosexual (a Rovian favorite), and that Cindy McCain was a drug addict.
  3. The truth was that John and Cindy McCain adopted a child from the Mother Teresa Orphanage in Bangladesh.
  4. Freakishly, John McCain now uses Karl Rove as informal adviser to his campaign.
