It is the soul, not the body which is eternal, if anything is.
Oh dear... having said that, there's the question of what I mean by 'soul' and it is too close to bed-time to start on that. It's all in my Universe blog... been going on about these kinds of things for some time now.
I'm finding the view from your corner of the Universe quite interesting!

Enjoyed your take on endless and eternal. I just
finished a poem on eternal love. I do think our
souls come back to either finished what they
started or to get it right this time. If we're not
using the gifts God give us correctly, we are
sent back again and againk, until we do. What
other take is there on a child being born with
music, art or the power of speech so young?

You make excellent points. I too would be very scared of having to live forever. I still have along way to go in this stint and being here has nearly killed me several times. I am an endangered species. It would be nice to receive one quarter the protection the harbor seals get around here...
