Re: So, so cool
I saw a lot of the devastation caused by fires, and wondered how recent they had been. It's sad for us in our short little lives, to see the dramatic but normal passage of nature's hand, to lose the scenery and surroundings that delight.

Re: What a beautiful sound of silence
Silent in the pictures, but a steady roar that drowns out everything else, by the falls!

Your photos make me want to sing Louis Armstrong's song but I have a terrible voice after many years of laryngitis caused by sinus infections a few years back.

So, so cool
Another "National Geographic" portfolio! And, no, I did not get to the falls till mid to late afternoon. No rainbows, but interesting shadows. Also, we were there last year at the height of the fires and saw them burning across Lake Yelllowstone at night. Eerie. Mal
