I think it will get worse before it gets better. Some folks desire that position too much! I agree, enough already!  sam

Politics

My husband is a political junkie and has Alzhiemer's and Parkinsons so I get to watch Fox 24/7 365.  I can recite both sides and the middle.  Obama is a great speaker but can talk out both sides of his mouth at the same time faster than my teenage son used too when I caught him breaking house rules.  I still haven't heard the How of his rhetoric.  Biden has gone along with the "We'll show you Dems" who have slowed down or refused to discuss any republican bills because of the Clinton Impeachment.  Boy, can they hold a grudge.

Just like the McCain bill for veterans was never brought to the floor for discussion.  He wanted to allow the families of vets to use the monies set aside for education if that's what the family wanted.  He wanted to award service men and women who have served the longest more incentive for their service rather than an across the board same reward for everyone.  This would give them a more secure future for retirement give us a better volunteer service and keep re-enlistment at a higher rate. Fox was the only news station to report this. They report both sides and let the viewer make up their own mind.

McCain seems to be an honorable man and a hero.  He is also stubborn but he does reach across party lines.  So far, I am just really impressed with Sarah Palin.  She seems the real deal.  I'm also impressed with Cindy McCain and her years of humanitarian work that has been done quietly and with no fanfare. Actions here seem to speak louder than words.  Although I am pro-choice, the decision tree on the Dem side seems a bit too risky and reactive.

As far as some of the energy bills McCain didn't sign we should know how much pork was in the bill.  The ear marks Palin lobbied for went into community pojects for the town (everyone in the town) not just a few. For me actions speak louder than words.
