Straightforward... not exactly.
What I am trying to convey here is that the things about ourselves "things we like, don't like, etc." are the things we tend to see in other people.

Neither of us have the money...it would cost quite a bit just for him to come for a visit...over $2000 just in airfare...then there is food, lodging...and that fact that I have been without a car for a year now.
And that is the good part.
Bringing him here permanently is a lot more complicated...unfortunately.
