Wow...
I would seriously have to disagree with this decision.
I can understand their wanting perfection...but no one is perfect. They should have picked a little girl who's singing talent was passable...or better yet... let the little girl who sang perform.
What does that say to our children? You are good enough to be heard, but not to be seen...and you are good enough to be seen but not to be heard.
These kids won't understand this kind of thing yet...but when they get older...they will likely have some self esteem issues.
It also makes me wonder...if it had been a little boy performing...would they have done the same thing?
