I Enjoy the Choices You Make
Your work takes me back to a time before "slam" poetry became all the rage and it was word on the page that created the lasting impression. You make choices in your writing that tease out of my memory the simple truths and deep lessons that I learned as child and learned how to ignore as an adult.
They Say is a wonderful example of a powerful piece of work framed in what looks like a simple form. Thanks for posting this one, I really enjoyed it.

Where there is a will, there is a way. This is truth spoken by one who has been and done. If it's meant to be and you want it to be, then it
cannot fail, no matter what 'they' say. Listen to your heart, and you won't go wrong...

To be stubborn can be ...
... a significant force against too many who want to be controllers. "They" (as I see it) are old patterns from (probably) childhood, created for learning and survivel but ... can easily end up in demanding "truths" within. - A good poem - it looks as you're conscious of who you are -

I've seen it work, I've seen it fail--
common sense, and patience seem to make a great difference!
