Reading this and your other poems and stories,

I can understand why you are enjoying my story and the characters so much!

Writing is so good for working out the shadows and haunts within, and growing up with addicts--whether to substances, or power or abusiveness...  Keep it flowing, Luz!

"the grass is not always greener on the other side" - how true, especially
in the world of the weird and unexpected....things are never what they appear to be...

Best Keep Away

This was really quite a great poem! The mood was very dark, but I know that's your style. A lot of very good and powerful lines. Very well done!

Thank you for reading! It's only about how people fear what they don't at first understand.

This is so poignantly powerful. I was so taken with this line: Didn’t they teach you to cringe. Magnificent! sam
