That was mean, just mean, Talion.

They were just idiotically trying to 'melting pot' talk to you and didn't know how.

What, she didn't know you're a guy or that guys don't tend to get all
gossipy and gooey about other people's kids? You gave the very same response any one of my sons would have, just what she deserved, slightly twisted, funny.  hahaha!!!

That was great! I have friends who are married. Male black and female white and until this entry I never thought much about it! They were over with their new born and all I could say was you guys make beautiful babies. And they do! It is so weird what people cling to! sam

It's odd isn't it?
I heard someone mention the other day to say that Asians were looking at the house next door,

and i was thinking, yeah, and so?

Sometimes I walk headlong into an uncomfortable situation without realizing it. However, sometimes I can see one coming a mile away. Those I easily avoid.

The strange thing is I didn't know how she expected me to react. Was I supposed to rant and rave? Be shocked and dismayed? She's a nice lady and I'd like to think she didn't mean any harm, but I still can't fathom what she meant at all.

LOLOLOL!
Talion, I love the way you handle these situations.  I have always found it interesting to see how people handle certain situations and how they go out of their way to impress upon someone that they don't really notice or care about race, sexual choice, faith, gender, etc... when in fact they actually make it worse and make themselves seem rather foolish.
