hmmmmm... amazing food for thought.

We are men; not gods you see
Not script a calm; not spawn a storm
In common with the flora and flea
Reduced to fossil; crypt mere adorn

These were my favorite lines.  It is very deep.  I just love the whole poem because it flows.  And I will add "nearer and nearer draws the time ....and time waits for no man" lovely poem.  Sophie.

The infant sips its mother’s tea
Cocksure there’ll be another day

Those two lines are my favorite - gives great imagery.

Time marches on
Clever use of words and conveying much meaning in brevity... Time is a mystery that reminds me I must surely be asleep as only dreams could be so bizarre
