Re: these are great photographs

Smittenheimer, I do that sometimes-- a few posts back there is the stroll through the woods that I dedicated to TAPS, for her love of trails and nature.  Others, I think it is more impactful  to let them speak for themselves.  I get some of my series of pictures done up as books (a lot of the hosting and photo-editing sites offer this at various costs) and like to put in some captions that tend to the poetic.

Hey, keep producing great stuff, and I will keep enjoying it!

Shelley and Jacenta, thanks for dropping by, and for your comments!
I will swing by your houses later to see what you're up to!

Hilow, that big male orang is eyeing a female who is climbing down
from the O-Lines at the National Zoo.  So your assessment may not be far off-- but he is no monkey!

The very first photo - LOVE IT!  That looks like a monkey in love with a great story to tell.

Thanks, Gap! I wish they kept the windows cleaner...
It was trickish, working around the smears and blots and bits on both sides of the glass.  My auto focus wanted to stay on the dirt, instead of the apes!
