Wow!
are you sure you're not from a more archaic time? this one was excellent, and it captured a monk's life so colorfully (which is a feat since it can be a rather colorless life).

I have a very close friend who gave up everything somewhat reluctantly to become a monk at Notre Dame. This reminded me very much of him. Thanks for sharing! - Chris
