What you went through sounds like a nightmare. Hope you are doing a lot better, now. I don't like medicine and I dislike going to a doctor or dentist, but sometimes we just need help. Right? Take care............

Good Grief! FineYoungSinger. What a horrible experience. I hate to hear of you going through all of that. Couldn't they just put you completely out during all that?

You poor thing!
There's a new dentist in Calgary that specializes in people who are scared of the dentist. They're playing fast and loose with the "knock-out" gas, putting people under for everything from simple cleanings to cavity fillings!
I haven't been, but I heard that the place is booked months in advance--I guess there are more than a few of us who'd rather sleep though the nastiness! I can't believe you were awake through you're ordeal!
Feel better, and enjoy the pain meds!

Re: That's a big Ouch!
Azur, that's pretty interesting, did you ever write anything about numbness after a molar or wisdom tooth extraction? One of the crazy side effects is the numbness in my chin & lip.

That's a big Ouch!
My son has big issues with his teeth. My daughter recently was put 'under' for treatment. I have a sideline writing articles for a dentist magazine. i now know more about dentists than I ever thought I would ;-).

Auughhh!!!!
Is it zafe yet?
I can't imagine that, and I beg to differ -- most of my dentists have, in fact, been sadistic nazi torture artists...
Hope you feel better soon. Enjoy the happy Vs!

Sheeesh...that must have been an oral surgeon specialist you had to go
to for that kind of work. I think I would have to be unconscious for that one, or at least I hope they gave you nitrous oxide! Be well now that you've ridden yourself of those lil monsters!
