It scares me to no end. My sons ride bikes and I cringe when I learn about these incidents. They can bring so much joy but the hazard is perilous. sam

I feel the same way
about them. Although, I am considering getting a moped. Not for highway use, but around town use within my neighborhood. I guess it is still kinda dangerous, but it helps that there isn't much traffic and the roads are 25mph max. Have a great weekend!

miaBella I feel the same way about the dangers of motorcycles
My colleague calls them "murder-cycles" and I can see why
They really are the best of both worlds so dangerous and so thrilling
I am somewhat familiar with riding, but off road only in soft soft sand dunes
And I can fully understand how much freedom one can experience and how tempting it is to go fast and faster still and then pretty soon white line fever sets in and it's so easy to loose ones head! (that's a metaphor kind of not apropo but it is spontaneous)

I can't believe you're a mommy now, MiaElla! Congratulations are long overdue, I think. It's amazing how motherhood can make one think more about the perils of certain recreational pursuit. And now with gas prices being so high... it'll only get worse.
Anyway, I've been a bit secretive the past few weeks, unsure when and where to reveal my "identity". It's so good to read you though! Will be back soon.
