Way to stand up for this poet! I also believe in freedom of expression ... even for jm ... but I agree, had ee cummings been told to capitalize, the poet would have lost a great deal of his uniqueness for me. Love you sam!

Previous comment , off the wall. An artist develops his style, it is respected or a comment should not be left. Also, what if someone had said that ee cummings had to change his style. We would not have artists such as yourself seeking to find their voice. You are outside the mold and that is what makes you so effective. I had a crappy comment from this one as well. And now I have forgot what I wanted to say about the poem but I know I liked it very much. I thought the first stanza had a powerful simile but I have to read again because I allowed the previous comment to affect me too much. Don't you ever stop using this style unless it is something you want to do. sam

1st of all, you can rescue yourself from your own writen language. Not that I didn't hear a voice, it's just too hard to read. So, I'm left wondering if you want to communicate something to me, or if you just want me to feel you're smart. Look it, for all I'm concerned you can write in oulde Engish, but I, for one, am certainly not going to read it. D+So, do what you want. I'm sure you appreciate it.
