No, I think there are two terms

I think Citizen of the World really does have the meaning you first give it, someone open, at home everywhere, fitting in anywhere, unprejudiced and caring of any human being.

The word for the lost feeling you experience is expatriate, not at home literally in the country you are in, not always part of the throng, not in the country of your birth, or near your family. That's what I sometimes feel. Or apatrid, without a homeland, but I think this applies technically to those who have had their passport and citizenship removed by the country they considered their homeland. What a fate.

Citizen of the World is a good thing to be.

Re:
Yes, I bought arnica cream and am putting it on and hot towels as well. It seems to help.

but of course you are happy the way you are:)!  i would never try to imply u were not:( by the way--i ll tell u for your back--you need to put hot packs on it with any herbs you can get(do you know of any chinese healers around?)they always have great linements.  otherwise use arnica or something of that nature.  At least I know that helps for muscular back pain-not really sure if it would help your kind of back pain.  worth a shot.

doudle edged sword is right.  i feel you.  your eyes open to so much and once you know-see-experience-it is hard to be----still.  i guess the cure is to -take a tripre energize maybe??  and to find the one true "home is where the heart is" may never really be?  I don't know thats for sure!  lost souls-searchingsouls-what it may, it comes with the territory of being a type of person you are.  Look at the bright side-you could b a bland boring monotone person with no taste and feeling and just walk through life like a cave man.

A double edge sword my friend. The worldly one is a friend in grand scope.  sam

I agree with Ash; the first description settles better in me!
As for your poor back - I truly sympathise as I have had this problem for years some days are worse than others I know; I also know that not much eases the pain (bed rest is the worst thing apparently) hope you have a better day tomorrow; take care

Hey Vogue..I talked with a that friend about how she deals with her issue and she said that she does a mix of herbals (I wrote them down but I forgot and left the note at work ) and daily routine of easy excerises..Most of the excerises are based on yoga moves to help get more flexation around the back (her main focus) as well as swiming three times a week to take the pressure off there as well..Hope this helps..I will have the herbs tomorrow for you..

When I see the description 'citizen of the world,' I have an image of a suave world traveler who is at home in any situation, and is very cool with it - somebody like Sean Connery as James Bond.

Stick with the definition in the first para, which I believe is correct...
The second para merely describes moods we all go thru sometime or the other..so don't be so hard on yourself..hope your mood swings back to the real u in the first para :)! - Ash

Oh no, I'm sorry you aren't feeling well, but I'd like to thank you
for choosing me this morning as one of the people you read .. I'm very honored.  I've not heard the term "Lumbago" in ages ... I'll need to google it, but I think it has to do with your back.  I hope by the time you read this you are feeling better ... hugs

Heal quickly, Citizen of the World!  I do always see that identifier as a positive one - someone who is open to all cultures, comfortable anywhere and not afraid to go out and see everything!  You are that to me.
