I've come to the realization that the whole isn't greater than the sum
... of its parts. I have always thought that the collective is more important than the individual. My spiritual philosophies have come from this perspective. I thought that to consider the self, is naturally selfish. I've done a 180 on this. The daisy chain is only as strong as its weakest link. Sacrificing yourself does not put you in optimum position to be able to assist others, therefore, self-fullness is the road to selflessness. Mama can't provide nourishment for baby if mama herself is malnourished. This is what I have learned and am learning.

I changed my mind regarding helping my brother and his family because they were destroying my home. I asked them to leave! sam
