Little Mermaid....Keep Your Voice Alive
Little mermaid, life I know,
Can be so painfully hard.
For some of us,
A miracle,
This far to come.
To cut short our days
But lengthens time for regret,
And will not end the pain.
But pain and sorrow
Will not flee,
Until something stronger
Takes its place,
For nature, you know,
A vacuum, will not allow.

Yours always tugs at my heart, an uncomfortable yet peaceful feeling. I hope my kids remember
me when I'm gone, as well as those who's lives I've touched in some small way.

I WILL REMEMBER YOU
Hi there, Purple Mermaid! Mayflower here.

Very happy to know you are a Filipina like me. You write so well. I like how you express yourself, so very real. I'm from Kalibo, Aklan, Western Visayas. Maybe if you happen to go to Boracay, you can keep in touch with me. Would love to meet you in person! Keep on writing! I can't wait to read your poems many years from now. If they are so profound and deep at your age now, how much beauty more can they contain as you continue with life's journey! God bless you, dear!

I love this quote especially ..
"Survival is not a sin" You would think it is to some people - it's like they want you to fall apart and be mentally dead without them - survival is a gift you give yourself! thank you again for an enjoyable read
