Some years ago...
...I had occasion to speak with a young man from Beijing. Tibet was in the news then, too. I mentioned that I remembered when the Chinese army had moved in to control Tibet back in the fifties. He told me that I had believed lies my government told me.

The fact that he could conceive that a government could lie I took as some small hope for the future.

Gandhi relied ol the militants to drive the British into his hut.

Re: Re: Indeed Well there is the power of the mind and of love
For as you were writing these very words to me I was looking through of where on your blogs

or comments that I might say I am thinking of you and will be doing so for test, and willing any  big challengers away with all of my heart and strength. But even if they beat on your door you will be OK.

Me, I am proof that after the bigger fights we become deliciously human and allow trivialities to dominate thought.  I am sitting fretting over a 'quiet friend' or two. Completely needlessly I know in my heart of hearts because half the time I scare them half to death from saying what they think because they have the crazy idea that I am strong, and so it goes on. Never stop.

Re: Ug the Merciless and Beneficent, in fact.

majroj, wasn't he the first fellow to hit his woman and drag her back into the cave by her hair? Then his 'peers' copied him and leaders have been fairly merciless ever since....

except Gandhi and a few others whose names are probably not written down anywhere because they set their good examples before books and storytellers began to accumulate history for us.

Whenever I feel alone, I remember Eve and those wild men in her family and in her garden trees, how alone she must have felt....praying for some peace....understanding....and someone to go off to the bathroom with her.

Well, golly Decs, you must have gotten up on the right side of the bed just before entering this comment. It was very nice of you to be so nice. But, you are nice and I know that. Thanks.

Re: Thanks for your prayers sam444, because even on the days when I
feel that God is at the mall with the rest of the Americans while war rages somewhere, caused by us, I believe that someone hears and registers the peace prayers.

Re: Indeed

azur, I am amazed at how you keep on keeping on, no matter the circumstances, mostly.

I heard about this No Complaint, Critize nor gossip movement around America here, AND, if I were in your shoes this week, I would be moving the bracelet that they wear, endlessly from one wrist to the other.

Thanks for stopping by. Thanks for reading trivialities like mine during your more importantly engaged moments.

majroj, I see, I see. Everyone copies everyone now, so origins, for those
of us who are losing brain cells at an alarming rate, and recent history disappear and we, I accuse the copier of being the originator. And everyone copies the Master of them all....Ramses was it or Ming the Terrible or who??
