Congratulations. You are the example that I wrote about below. - try to ask why and give fact-filled examples but all you get back are insults. I appreciate you taking five minutes of your time to read what I have to say; I wish I had those same five minutes but alas I gave up on you when you labeled me a racist a few days ago (it's all there for you to read, in case you've conveniently forgotten) and was left with no choice but to block you from ever commenting on my blogs again. I've never insulted you - you in turn have in almost all your comments to me.
And since this is neither your or my house, I ask that you refrain form carrying on this dicussion any further (and my apologies to Corbin for the invasion of space). Good riddance.

It's a question of, as a hard-working, law-abiding, tax-paying citizen, do I still have the right to ask questions if I don't like something, or do I have to keep my head down and my mouth shut for fear of being labeled a racist? I won't stand for the double-standard, either. You can't even cough and sneeze anymore that you get all sorts of accusations thrown at you. And the worst part is, you try and reason with some people based on facts, and all you get thrown back are flames, insults, and foul language. As much as this great charlatan has been claiming to "bring us all together", it's a sad and disheartening situation that this great bluff divider has led us into, and to which I see no simple solution. He's bringing us back to the ugliness that were the 1950s and 1960s.

Since you asked! Mitt Romney was a man that I thought should have done a lot better! He has a strong "Faith" that plays a part in his life and appeal. If McCain wants my support I think Mitt Romney would strengthen his image!

Here’s a ‘typical’ Toronto news item, Toronto Sun, March 8, 2008
“A Bloods crew who rampaged through the subway during rush hour was targeting lone commuters for swarmings in areas not covered by security cameras, police said yesterday...About 10 youths - all dressed in red and black – set upon their victims regardless of age or ability to fight back..”
Neither the police nor the article referred to the fact that these kids are black, though ‘everybody’ knows they are, mostly because this was by no means isolated incident. It, and similar events, have long since become part of the ‘cultural fabric’ of this city.
Those who witness this cannot be expected to wax analytical about the historical, cultural and socio-economic ‘causes’ for this sort of thing, let alone the victims, even if they had the knowledge to do so. They are simply afraid when they see a bunch of black kids. Does that make them ‘racist’ or ‘typical whites?’
I know not only that racism is stupid and causes immense problems, but as a result of my professional training I also know why and how. I know the real problem isn’t the colour, but the culture around colour!
Also, I have always gone anywhere I wanted to, mostly because I always had what is now often referred to as ‘attitude’. But I will not go into certain areas now, and when I see a bunch of black kids, I may not be ‘afraid’, but I am cautious, because I am not a fool. Does that make me a ‘typical white guy’?

That pisses (sorry I don't swear but I am making a huge exception) me off big time. I refuse to be stereotyped as much as he does. This is outrageous on his part. I am a human being as well. This is getting to be stacked too high for me. The more he tries to justify the crap going on the worse he makes himself look. sam
