I have to agree with you that people have to be responsible for their pets
I mean you wouldn't come over and do a business on my lawn(I hope) so why should it be OK for your pet.

Our corgi does the same thing, FYS.
She's playing, but it's still unnerving, even for a little dog, to suddenly go roaring up after someone or something. She is always on a leash when she's outside our fence.

Strat, being the owner of two pit bull mixes, I can't agree more with this
post. Those animals never go outside off a leash--NEVER. No matter how tame you think your dog is, he or she will bolt off without warning if the circumstances are right. For example, my pit- shar-pei mix, who is extremely well-behaved and obedient, flew out the side door like a bat out of hell after an unleashed german shephard wandering through our yard.
