Littlemspickles, No not really. Two weeks and counting. Both girls are out of high school now, and both home over the summer. So I imagin I will be kept busy following them around. Thanks for an insight to your job. Sounds intense!

Kingmi - the school year has been busy (as usual)
we have 4 weeks left to the mid-year break... this year I have been doing a few different things from my "normal" classroom teaching. I am, depending on when you ask me, the teacher-in-charge of the library, Language, Science and Literacy Coordinator, Senior Teacher - Early Childhood, Chinese Language Teacher and Science Teacher. We've also just finished National Testing (Literacy and Numeracy tests completed Australia wide by Year 3, 5, 7 and 9 students). And on top of that it's report time - so not only am I writing reports but I also have the pleasure of reading/checking the other early childhood reports before they go to the principal. And, I also had the opportunity to act in the Assistant Principal role for 2 weeks. In between, there has been a rotten virus/bug that has been doing the rounds and industrial action by teachers in aid of better classroom and pay conditions. LOL - enough about me, but you did ask!!!
I didn't get to see The other Boelyn Girl when it was on at the movies so will be waiting for it on DVD.
I bet you're looking forward to the break that's coming up! Anything planned or just some time out?
