Well, we know I give in for love, and now that it's clear there is no real love it's time for me to go. I would love to see your Indian girl ... sounds like just the thing to remind me of home. For me it's about focusing on leaving, starting over, and besides the fuzzy loves of my life I now have this beautiful boy to show for even in the dark times:

So, majroj, I Goggled the places here in town and nearby and wrote down their contact info and shall do what you suggested, too. I have loads of fun painting animalitos.

So, azur, I pray for your beginnings, too, now and in the hour of your thinking too long about where to start. I make lists and peruse books and can put off actual beginnings for weeks. Frightening.
You start more quickly than I, but your recent shake shake shake, may have addled your pace a bit. Have some tea and starting places will come to you. Hugs....yummy long and heartfelt ones.

The local SPCA shows donated/attributed work of local painter and his cards
The work is fairly large and can be seen across their big lobby, paintings of people's adopted anmals, fairly simple and bold . The cards have a lttle color picture of a painting and on the other half has his name, phone, and advises he does paintings from photos.
