Whether literal or metaphorical...
...war is hell on nature, as well as our natures......in love and war. Great poem, Sinome!

Hello Sinome
The imagery is simply awesome although pictured in pithiness. I can see some pain, personal, but also a felt experience of many. You have a way with your poetry to take aboard anyone willing to come along, particularly, in this case I think, down memory lane. I could be wrong. Keep writing and God bless~ my friend.

I felt the pain of private battles mostly lost within myself
the imagery here is very thought provoking.

Modern Times
An insightful poem on the issue of war that's visionary. That is, your poem's both melancholic and beautiful, love.

You poetry rings true
However sad a physical war seems to be

the war in mind is much worse, you see

suffering is not "out there"

it is here we need to bear:

the brunt of ideas

feelings

the stormy sea

from which we cannot flee

Only one escape

Accept what is

And Love without End

You are God sent
