Oh I have not found this until tonight...Ok. my favorite bloom is the acacia. Tonight, while reading I get the scene of David and Bathsheba...this is simply divine, and alluring. Oh Poet, I will save to fave and re-read...Simply stunning! ~Elyse

I was taken with the imagery. It felt like a tryst that had the usual, where one is either more committed than the other or the tryst was very enjoyable but couldn't survive. I loved this piece. sam

In this piece, the acacia represents secret love. Written from the female perspective, it shows her complete and secret (Do you know how long I have worn this veil...) love for someone; how she hopes that he realizes how she feels (Do you smell the fragrance of the yellow acacia bloom?)...and prays that, if so, he will acknowledge her feelings (...and guide your gentle hand to pluck the sweet acacia.)
