A big amen! I have a bicycle ministry where I give out bikes to under privileged kids. I do this for God's eyes only and for big smiles on kids faces. Two weeks ago I outfitted a family of four. It was grand! sam

It's so very true that we often do something for someone with an expectation - it may not be overt but it's in the back of our mind. When we can make a departure from this kind of thinking and extend kindness or a helping hand without requiring anything in return it's an exremely freeing experience. The gift of giving is what can show us the way to being a fuller and more mindful person.
